Japanese automakers have ascended the auto industry’s ladder to become some of the most popular and consumer friendly in the whole world.
Honda was the eighth largest auto-mobile manufacturer in the world behind General Motors, Volkswagen Group, Toyota, Hyundai Motor Group, Ford, Nissan, and PSA in 2011.
Hondas are very popular because they are reasonably priced, very durable, have excellent fuel efficiency and are very sport orientated. There is also a sub culture developed by the fans!
NSX Type R
280bhp / 0-60 mph in 4.4s
No other vehicle in the Honda fleet compares to the performance variant of the NSX: the NSX Type-R. The Type-R could best the original NSX in the 0-60 run by a full second. In fact, the NSX Type-R could make the haul in 4.4 seconds. It was able to do it behind 280 horsepower, produced by the 3.2-liter V6 engine. This also allowed the Type-R to reach a top overall speed of 168 miles per hour. It’s still one of Honda’s most exclusive cars ever, and currently reigns as Honda’s fastest.
