Being friendly always helps !
Be friendly and polite. Officers are human too! If you’re nice to the police officer, chances are they’ll act in the same way towards you. Ditch the bad attitude, know your rights and answer their questions as clear as possible. Be friendly and non aggressive. Being on your best behavior can really help you sidestep a ticket. Show the officer/s that you respect their authority. Don't be over-polite though, offering donuts will definitely not help you!
