US roads are filled with mainly compact sedans and big bulky pick ups, trucks and SUVs. That's what's mainstream right now in the US, your daily commuter for the average person. A car that would go A to B just fine. But younger generations like us prefer cars with a character. Something that will reflect a part of our personality. A machine that is worth remembering for days to come. We decided to organize a list with the seven cars that we think are the most popular choice for people of our age (20-30).

Mazda Miata MX-5
Picture : Generation NC 3rd gen |
109 kW (146 bhp) @6,500 / 1.8L / 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds (second gen specs)
For pure driving joy, look no farther than the Miata—and you’ll need only one turn behind the wheel to see why. Compact with decent performance, the Mazda Miata is a car that every car guy should try at least once ! The modern version has extensive use of aluminum keeps weight down, so the Miata remains eminently flingable in the twists and turns you will be sure to seek out whenever you hit the road. Modern comforts are on hand, too, with Bluetooth, a leather-wrapped shifter, and power door locks.
When Mazda launched the first Miata, it made no secret of its intention to clone the Lotus Elan, minus the puddle of oil on the garage floor. The new car became a hit with buyers who remembered other roadster : classic MGs, Austin-Healeys, Triumphs, and even the long-in-the-tooth Alfa Romeo Spider, which was somehow still in production though would become immediately unsellable in the face of the new competition.
This made the car very popular through out the petrolhead communities !
Pros: Fun to drive, like a go cart for the street. The Mazda Miata weight distribution is just perfect !
Cons: No storage room other than a backpack.
200 HP / 2.0 / Boxer / 0-60 mph 6.1s / Quarter mile 14.6s
The 86 is a series of sports cars jointly developed by Toyota and Subaru and solely manufactured by Subaru. It features a boxer engine, front engine, rear wheel drive drivetrain and 2+2 seating.
It is sold worldwide under three different brands with respective model names:
Toyota 86 in Asia, South Africa, North America (from August 2016), South America and Australia;GT86 in Europe; both of the preceding names in New Zealand; FT86 in Nicaragua and Jamaica;
Subaru BRZ worldwide;
Scion FR-S in the US and Canada. After the Scion brand was discontinued in August 2016, the FR-S was renamed as the Toyota 86.
For some the car is underpowered but others say it's just enough to put a smile on your face, remember that the AE86 wasn't that powerful either !

Pros: Love the styling, the front seats are to die for, more than fun- driving it is an experience, insurance on Subaru BRZ is not that expensive.
Cons: The rear seats are completely pointless, only takes 93 octane, nav system/stereo system somewhat difficult to operate, the BRZ top speed is not that amazing.
