Oh man...oh boy...
The Lawmakers have actually scheduled a vote on legally running over protesters on the highway ! The scariest thing is that it is likely to pass - in other words this legislation will permit you to accidentally run over protesters who block the entirety of a highway or a road !
This is due to months and months of protests by the left party against the Dacota Access Pipeline. Of course the highway safety institute says no, how highways and transportation is not going to give up easily !

Kempenich said he was spurred to act after Dakota Access Pipeline protesters last year moved to block public roadways, scaring some of his constituents.
“It turned from a protest to basically terrorism on the roadways, and the bill got introduced for people to be able to drive down the roads without fear of running into somebody and having to be liable for them,” he told CNN.
“If people stay off the roadway, it has nothing to do with you,” he said. “[But] if you’re on the roadway trying to intimidate some people, then you’ve got an issue.” // end of quotation
Those news led to a swarm of new memes of a famous sports cars model.
As crazy as it may sound, North Dakota isn't the only one in the fight against road protesters. Many other towns and cities that have been paralyzed by the numerous protests are trying their own techniques of discouraging the demonstrators and protesters. KITLA reports that they are also working on similar bill law.
In under a month legislatures in Minnesota, Indiana and Iowa have moved to create new and update laws explicitly targeting roadway blocking.

So remember, according to this law, if you want to feel like a thug, it doesn't really matter if you can afford luxury cars or just a plain ordinary family sedan , as long as you feel like it you can smack the hell out of anyone present on the highway, who is not in a vehicle.
